A Diamond Jubilee is a celebration held to mark the 60th anniversary a monarch has reigned. The first Diamond Jubilee celebrated in the UK was that of Queen Victoria in 1897 and the only other Diamond Jubilee is that of Queen Elizabeth II, to be celebrated June 2-5, 2012. Over a long weekend, Britain will witness a large ceremony.
