According to a source in the Russian Defense Ministry, the 'flying ace' has been identified as 45-year-old veteran pilot
who had been performing maneuvers with his co-pilot as part of a training exercise.
The supersonic aircraft was flying at subsonic speed at the time.
(That's why you can hear the engines before he flies over the car.)
When the Sukhoi SU-24 is flying supersonic, its wings are swept back (to increase speed by decreasing drag).
In the video you can clearly see that the plane's wings are swept forward (for better maneuverability near the ground).
