Fiat S76 Land Speed Record Breaking Car From 1911 Brought Back To Life

The 'Beast of Turin' - a Fiat S76 with the biggest car engine ever built - has just been fired up for the first time since 1911.

With a 28.5 liter (!) engine and advanced technology for its time — four valves per cylinder, multi-spark, overhead cam, ca. 300 HP — the Fiat S76 achieved a land speed record of 131 mph (211 km/h) in Ostende, Belgium on 18 December 1913.
