The battery-powered flying bicycle has six propellers (two a piece on the front, back and sides) and lifts 95 kg (209 lb).  A successful radio-controlled test flight with a dummy pilot on 12 June 2013 lasted for five minutes.  More powerful batteries are needed before a human test flight.  Design and engineering company Technodat, bicycle company Duratec, and aircraft manufacturer Evektor worked together on the project.
