How is this possible?  The body of the airplan is made of foam core boards and is very light.  The electric motor is reversible.  The usual thrust-vectoring effect from a propeller blowing air over control surfaces is exaggerated with such a light aircraft having a powerful thrust-to-weight ratio - to the point that it can generate all the airflow it needs by itself, not requiring any airspeed.
