In 2016 she competed in Beijing, China where she won her 2nd Guinness World Record for “The Farthest Distance to Limbo under 12 inches.”  Her first record in 2010 still holds as the lowest limbo dancer in the world.  Shemika is a native of the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago - the birthplace of the Limbo Dance.  She now resides in Buffalo New York.
