Marcelito Pomoy (35) is unique in that he can sing in both a male tenor voice and a female soprano voice.
Because of this, he’s able to perform popular male-female duets without a partner.
Not only does he sing both high and low parts, but he switches back and forth between them seamlessly.
Marcelito grew up in the Philippines and lived on the streets from a young age, earning the equivalent of a dollar per day.
He’s been singing since he was 7 years old, but it wasn’t until he turned 18 that he realized he could make a career out of it.
Marcelito was named the winner of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2.
