A 'blooper' is a short sequence of a film or video production, usually a deleted scene, containing a mistake made by a member of the cast or crew. The term 'blooper' term originates from wartime censorship, and is short for "blue pencil" - which was used to cross out unacceptable parts of documents and letters.
