Starship, the crown jewel of the SpaceX rocket fleet performed multiple high-altitude
tests in 2021 and the rocket has been fully stacked with its mammoth booster in January 2022
in preparation for further flights and is currently waiting for FAA environmental approval.
The animation shows the massive spacecraft taking off and separating from its Super Heavy
booster before propelling itself into orbit.
The video also illustrates SpaceX's plan to catch the Super Heavy booster using a massive
tower that features two giant “chopstick” arms — a wild departure from conventional rocketry.
