That song was composed and written by Carol King and Gerry Goffin in 1962.
At that time Eva Boyd, a little black teenage girl, was working for them as a maid and babysiter.
A studio wanted to record a demo of the song but without a singer, at the last minute Carol and Gerry
decided to ask Little Eva to come at the studio to record the song.
She did it so well that it was decided that she will do the final recording.
